TIPS

Gathre Mats

These are so worth the price in my opinion. I use the Micro+ and place it over our changing table pad. I will often toss it on the ground if I need to create a makeshift changing area. If it gets wet, all you have to do is wipe clean and the mess doesn’t soak through. They are easy to travel with if needed and come in a variety of colors and sizes. These can double as a pet mat and/or go beneath a high chair. 13/10 recommend. The gift your expecting mama friend never knew she needed.

SnuggleMe Organic

I guarantee this will become your most used baby product once you bring baby home from the hospital. It’s so great to lay baby in while you’re getting a few things done, eating dinner, or just lounging together. Always keep baby within sight, of course, but these are a requirement for any registry.

Bottle Warmer

Your mom or grandma may not see a need for this one, but trust me, get the bottle warmer. They are so convenient and easy to use. The best part is, they allow you to keep your hands free to tend to baby while the bottle is warming. No holding the bottle under warm water and no guessing as to whether the temperature is too hot. In just a few minutes, the bottle is ready to go and you never have to worry about hot pockets. We use the Phillips Avent. This model is nice because it has an auto shutoff feature, can be used with bottles from other brands, and doubles as a defroster for breast milk or baby food.

LuluLemon’s ALIGN Leggings

These aren’t official maternity pants, but they are amazing for maternity and postpartum.

The high waisted fit makes these so flattering and comfortable for any new mama. I love these leggings because I don’t have to worry about them being super transparent and they offer great support. Honestly, I wish I had ten so I could slip into another pair while washing the other. These would make a great gift for any expecting mom.

Kyte Baby and Dreamland Baby Sleep Sacks

The first sleep sack we used was Dreamland Baby. It was a gift from a friend and Leo slept AMAZING while using it. More recently, Leo has started rolling at night so we’ve transitioned to the Kyte Baby sleep bag. Both are great and are available in baby soft bamboo cotton – My fav! Always consult your doctor before adding anything new to your routine.
