Photographing families in Wisconsin is the best! The changing seasons provide so much variety in backgrounds and colors. Fall came just in time for this sweet family and little Tuuli at just two months old!

It’s that time of year again! All the fall things are happening – sessions are in full swing, just a little less intense than last year. 😉 One of my favorite things about being a Wisconsin family photographer is getting to adventure all over the most beautiful areas our state has to offer.

Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing several families back home. September is probably my favorite month for photos. I know I’m probably in the minority – so many families want to capture the fall colors – but there’s just something about September that has my heart.

I love being able to photograph families in the Green Bay and Milwaukee areas. It opens up a lot of opportunities to catch up with couples from the past and their growing families. Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Melissa and Tony’s family. Although high school was only so many years ago, it feels as if nothing has changed. We’ll all live happily ever after – young and in our 20’s 😉

I love a good mini session. This was probably one of the first cold weather sessions of the year and I love the bravery in wearing dresses. If you can wear a dress to your session, do it. They look so timeless and dreamy. Another thing I love? Dogs. Marley is 14 and spoiled with love. Include your pups when you can!

Capturing these fun little snapshots for families makes me so happy. One thing is for certain, Jeff and Katrina were meant to be parents. They are both so calm and cool. Katrina has this beautiful warm way about her – she makes it look so easy.
